About South Hill Church

What to expect:

• When you enter our main reception, you will be welcomed by one of our Welcome Team.
• Church starts at 10.30am with time for coffee and a chat! A time to make friends and enjoy catching up.
• The service starts at 11am with all age worship, at 11.15am the children and youth leave the main church for their separate activities.
• The service finishes at 12.15pm.
• If you are joining us for the first time with a young family, one of our Welcome Team will explain the various children and youth activities we have to offer. If you are happy for your children to join one of the activity groups, they will then offer to introduce you to a relevant crèche, children, or youth team leader.
• All our children and youth workers are DBS checked and competent at settling in new children. However, you are welcome to stay with your child for a while if they need reassurance or they can stay in the main service with you.

• Babies from 6 months to 4-year-old children

  Creche is for babies from 6 months to 4-year-old children and takes place from 11am-12.15pm. It is a safe room with age-appropriate equipment for children to play and enjoy themselves. Creche is staffed so that parents can leave their children to play if they wish, while they join the adult Sunday service.

• Primary and junior aged children

  Primary and junior aged children have a bible-based programme of teaching, including fun games, craft, worship at our Early Years Centre.

• Secondary age children/youth

  Secondary age children/youth have a discipleship programme and meet in the Coffee lounge during the adult Sunday service. To achieve our aims, we provide a balanced programme of worship, teaching, discussion, games, and group activities.
